The The DeKalb County Sheriff's Department consists of 11 law enforcement officers, to include our administration, road patrol, K-9 patrol, and school resource officers. , approximately 4 reserve deputies and 6 full time civilian personnel dedicated to the health, safety and welfare of our citizens. We are located in northwest Missouri, East of St. Joseph, Missouri. Our community has a population of approximately 12,840 citizens and cover 426 square miles. County seat is located in Maysville Mo. DeKalb County Sheriff's Office is located on the 3rd floor of the County Courthouse at the intersection of 33 hwy. and 6 hwy.

Sheriff Andy Clark ended his watch on June 3rd, 2020. He was dedicated to and loved DeKalb County. He lead by example, was strong in his faith, LOVED his family and was a true friend. Today, we salute you, Sheriff. Never forgotten.
