"Meet Our Team!"

Meet: Brooklyn Toney

Position: SHIP Coordinator (State Health Insurance Program Coordinator)

Length of time at the ADD: almost 3 years

Job Description:
As the SHIP Coordinator, Brooklyn assist individuals and their families with their Medicare insurance. She strives to help our community and educate them to better understand their Medicare insurance and to help them make the right decision when it comes to choosing the right insurance plan for them. The busiest time of year for her is Medicare Open Enrollment which is October 15th- December 7th each year. During this time, anyone who is eligible for Medicare is able to make changes to their insurance. Brooklyn makes sure to visit each county (Fleming, Mason, Bracken, Lewis, and Robertson) at least twice during this time to give individuals easier access to our SHIP program. SHIP does not sell any insurance, and there is never a charge for SHIP services.

Fun Facts about Brooklyn:
*She attended school at Morehead State University and Maysville Community and Technical College.

*She is currently expecting my first child with my husband, Caleb.

*Brooklyn's hobbies include reading, sewing, spending time with my 3 dogs on the farm, and taking road trips with my husband.

*My favorite color is turquoise, and my favorite food is Mexican especially right now with being pregnant it is my most craved craving!

*My favorite vacation destination would either be the beach or Pigeon Forge, TN

"Meet Our Team!"

Meet: Steven Peed

Position: Career Exploration Specialist

Length of time at the ADD: a little over 2 years with ADD, but just transitioned into his new role on July 1st of this year.

Job Description: Steven will serve as the liaison/consultant for area schools/colleges on how the ADD can collaborate to provide quality work-based learning opportunities as well as educate students on career options.

Fun Facts: Steven is the father of 3 amazing children, and 2 amazing puppos. In his spare time, he is the voice of Pendleton County Athletics Radio, and have will starting his 14th season soon.

BTADD staff, Board Members, County Judges, Mayors - and even past and friend Larry Foxworthy who has joined KACo, are in Louisville this week attending the 50th Annual Governor’s Local Issues Conference at the Galt House!



The Governor’s Local Issues Conference brings together local government officials and community officials from across Kentucky to learn about current issues and opportunities impacting our communities in Kentucky. The conference features best practices shared across the state and workshops that provide valuable networking opportunities to connect with others working to strengthen all of Kentucky!
