WIC supports breastfeeding as a key component of Make America Healthy Again by promoting better childhood nutrition, and breastfeeding itself is associated with reducing the risk of certain chronic diseases. WIC provides moms with healthy food, plus breastfeeding support, nutrition education, and referrals to health and social services.
