With the weather that is coming in, your Maysville Fire Fighters are out and about starting to clear trees. If you are out and see a tree down please call 479-273-5532. Also keep in mind our guys and gals are leaving their families to go out and remove trees and hazards. With that being said please be patient with them if they are blocking the road trying to get the trees and debris cleared.

The Maysville Fire Department asks everyone to pray for Captain Kelley’s family today as the grieve the loss of a true public servant.

As you go about your day, tell people you love them. Offer them a hand. Share a funny memory with them. Most of all, remind them how important they are in your lives.

Rest Easy Brother, Your watch has ended

Our law enforcement family is mourning the loss of a truly remarkable man.

After many years of dedicated service, Chris Kelley, a longtime Deputy Sheriff with the Benton County Sheriff's Office, (Reserve Lieutenant), and Captain with the Centerton Police Department, has passed away.

He was more than a badge and a uniform. He was a respected leader, a trusted mentor, a loyal friend, a devoted husband, and a servant to his community. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to others left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He led with integrity, treated people with respect, and earned the admiration of colleagues, friends, and community members alike. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched throughout his career and beyond.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who served alongside him during this difficult time.

Thank you for your service, your friendship, and the example you set for so many. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Rest easy, brother. We have the watch from here.
