The kynect department of West Kentucky Allied Services is organizing a Fair Chance Health, Resource, & Employment Fair on October 10 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Mayfield High School. This event is open to the public and we are looking for additional vendors and employers to join us! We encourage any and all employers that are open to hiring justice-impacted individuals and those who are in recovery to sign up for a day that could be lifechanging for some. The Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Grant Program Coordinator is a brand new position that provides leadership, coordination, and day-to-day management of the Drug-Free Communities Support Program in McCracken County. The Coordinator works collaboratively with youth, local school systems, and health coalition members to implement evidence-based strategies that prevent youth substance use. This position ensures compliance with federal grant requirements, facilitates coalition activities, manages reporting and evaluation efforts, and promotes community engagement to achieve measurable outcomes.
