Congratulations to our 354th Basic Training Class President - Officer Frederick Klodt from the Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribal Police Department!
Officer Klodt is a dedicated law enforcement professional currently serving with the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. Born in Ohio and raised in Colorado, he enlisted in the US Army Military Police Corps in 2003. He dedicated 22 years of distinguished service to the US Army and Military Police Corps, serving both domestically and overseas. Officer Klodt retired from the US Army having led Soldiers and managed complex security operations across the globe.
During his two decades of military service, Officer Klodt developed a deep expertise in tactical operations, leadership, and crisis management. These years of experience established an ironclad foundation for his transition into law enforcement and his continued devotion to public safety.
Following his retirement from the US Army, Officer Klodt chose to continue his legacy of service in Kansas. In September 2025, he joined the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Tribal Police to further his commitment to protecting the community with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
Known for his extensive experience, steady leadership, and mission-oriented mindset, Officer Klodt approaches his duties with a profound sense of responsibility and respect for the nation and its people.
