🍅🥕 Attention Seniors! Fresh, Healthy Produce May Be Available at Little or No Cost!
🌽🍓 I recently learned about South Carolina's Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program, and it looks like an incredible opportunity for seniors living on a fixed income.
If you're 60 years of age or older and qualify, you may be eligible to receive FREE vouchers to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables from participating farmers' markets—including the Mayesville Farmers Market, held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month.
The program is funded through the USDA and administered in South Carolina to help eligible seniors enjoy nutritious, locally grown produce while supporting our local farmers. Benefits are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so it's worth checking to see if you qualify.
