🚒✨ Maxwell Fire Department Needs Your Help This Winter!

Snow is piling up, and our firefighters need quick access to hydrants when it matters most. You can make a huge difference with just a few minutes of shoveling!

Here’s what to do:
✔️ Clear a 3-foot circle around your nearest fire hydrant
✔️ Shovel a simple path from the road to the hydrant
✔️ Adopt a hydrant if you can — check it after every snowfall

Here’s what NOT to do:
❌ Don’t let snow bury or hide hydrants
❌ Don’t leave deep banks that firefighters would have to dig through
❌ Don’t assume plows leave hydrants accessible — they usually don’t!

🔥 Did you know?
• Fire can get out of control in under 30 seconds
• Your home can become life-threatening in 2 minutes
• Fire can consume a home in around 5 minutes

A few minutes of your time could save a home — or even a life.
Thank you for helping keep Maxwell safe!
