The voters have voted and I am so grateful to the citizens of Orange County for allowing me to continue to serve as Constable of Precinct 2! I love being part of this great community and I will continue to give my best efforts to make you proud to have re-elected me. I am thankful for my campaign team, and my friends and family for their support and hard work and I would also like to acknowledge the efforts of my fellow candidates and the democratic process. Tomorrow is “Super Tuesday”, there will be a lot of things determined tomorrow, I’m asking if you haven’t voted or know someone who hasn’t, reach out to them and encourage them to. When it comes to the Constables Office Precinct 2, I ask that you look at the facts and the things that I’ve accomplished since being in office, the increase in civil cases, the proactive response to criminal issues, enforced traffic enforcement, availability to the citizens. These are not just words that I’m saying to be elected. For the last 3 1/2 years these are the things I’ve practiced. Precinct 2 deserves someone who has the proven ability and desire to work. You can listen to all the negativity, and lies, or you can look at the guy who’s stood in front of you told you the truth, and what he wanted to do, and over the last 3 1/2 years has done just that. I humbly ask that you show support by sharing this and reaching out to friends and family who haven’t voted and encourage them to do so. I’ll be floating around tomorrow hope to see you at the polls.

Today is the last day of early voting. Polls are open from 7am-7pm today. I graciously ask that you forward and share this post. I truly appreciate all the phone calls and messages of support. I believe I’ve done everything I said I would do when taking this position. I ask that you take a minute to look and compare all candidates. My opponents have stood in front of people at our forums and in the news papers and confessed pro activity, criminal, and traffic enforcement and better working relationship with other agencies. These things have all been said before. If you sit back and look at the political landscape, candidates across the board will preach about things they believe the public wants to hear. But when elected some of those promises fall short. I am the only candidate that has made promises and over the last 3 1/2 years fulfilled those promises. With the increase in work load that my office takes on year after year, I continue to do the “extra” things that I promised. Enforcing criminal law, traffic law, responding to neighborhood complaints regarding traffic, property line disputes, and problems with neighbors. Monitor and enforce illegal practices with the 8 liner machines, and the sale of to***co products to minors. Created and works a program through probation and the JP courts that puts persons with community service hours to work in the county picking up trash on county roadways. I’m at minimum available by phone after hours and weekends, that’s if I don’t respond in person, for the citizens and officers who call with questions pertaining to civil law, practices and direction. A lot of things are said during political campaigns, and elections. Promises are made, and some things are pushed into mountains to get a reaction. Check education, experience, years of service, endorsements from local agencies and other organizations. Compare candidates, I appreciate your vote, your support and continued support. Encourage your family and friends to do the same. We have two days of voting left. Make your vote count.

Happy Sunday!

Today the polls are open from1pm-7pm.

I would like to highlight a few things. I am the incumbent; I have held this position for almost 4 years and I’m proud of the work I have done with the help and support of other agencies and the citizens in our communities.

Prior to taking office I worked in Jefferson County as a Narcotics Officer, prior to that I was a Patrol Officer. I give these three examples to say that I am the only candidate running that has any full time Law Enforcement experience in the 21 Century.

I’m 46 years old, certified, and have been commissioned for 23 plus years.

I am the only candidate who:

· has more than 3,000 law enforcement training hours, this is double any other candidate.

· has actively worked full time to enforce criminal and civil law for the last 23 years. This is almost as many years of experience as the other 2 candidates have combined.

· is an active member of an elite tactical response team (Orange Regional Tactical Response Team). This group has been deployed in Precinct 2 on several occasions to assist the Constables Office with search warrants. Those search warrants were responsible for removing pounds of illegal narcotics being sold in Precinct 2. We also work with the school districts to train in active shooter events.

Experience and knowledge are what leads the way. I have both.

I am humbly asking for your support and your vote so that I can continue to be your Constable Precinct 2.

Tomorrow is the 5th day of early voting, I will be at the community center in Mauriceville tomorrow, and will make my way to Vidor in the afternoon. If you have not voted yet come by tomorrow and say hello and cast your vote. Look forward to seeing everyone.

While out today I seen a lot of people at the poles. I tried several times to make it out but between work and kids softball in the middle of the day I didn’t make it. I want to think everyone for the calls and messages today. Early voting ends March 1st I will try to make it out some this week, but if not I will be out Saturday and Sunday. Spread the word get out and early vote. I appreciate all the support thank you to everyone.

“When your hatred for one man is greater than the love of our COUNTY you might be part of the problem”

This was posted and tagged on several different sites. While reading it I understood it to be a reflection on the sheriffs race. And I do not get involved in others campaigns, knowing that I’m involved in my own election. But in reading this I can only think, that being hypocritical in your words regarding just one candidate while ultimately backing and professing unwavering support for others for doing, saying, or conducting themselves in the same manner is more of a problem then not supporting someone because you dont like them. There are people who do not like me or are mad for whatever reason. I can understand this, and that is admirable, and acceptable if they could just say that, if it is the truth. In no way can everyone like and support the actions of one person. I have friends that I consider family and would do almost anything for and we still don’t agree on everything. And it is perfectly acceptable among adults. I sit back knowing most of all the candidates and their supporters in the Orange County races personally. The lies and misdirections that are being feed by some are so comical, that after these races are concluded, I don’t see how some people will ever be able to come back from the things they have said. As a voter please do your research the information is out there on everyone. Most things you can find without looking very much. If you don’t care about the facts, or the information, vote for who you want but say that. Integrity and morality are admirable qualities for those that can tell the truth. I have been the Constable for a little over 3 1/2 years. I’ve been active and commissioned for 23 of the last 26 years. Since being elected I’ve conducted activities out of this office that no one else has done. I’m committed to taking care of the responsibilities of the constables office, while continuing to do everything I’ve done that has set me up in the position I’m in to ask for your support in my reelection. Have I been fired, yes. Have I been written up, yes. Am I a veteran, no. Do I cuss, yes. Have I done things in my past that I’m not proud of or wish I would have handled differently, yes. Am I scared to talk about it or feel I need to lie, NO. Early voting start’s February 20. I appreciate everyone who took the time to read this, and hopefully I will continue to be your Precinct 2 Constable.

Last night was the Constable Precinct 2 forum at Mauriceville Elementary. I would like to thank the Orange County Republican Party for putting this forum together. I want to truly thank everyone who came out in support, and the phone calls and messages I’ve received today. No matter what is said I ran for this position to make a difference and if re-elected, I will continue to do what I’ve done. These two pictures are me most likely looking at my opponents in disbelief of some of the ways they answered their questions, and stammers they made. For those in attendance and those that were able to piece it together on the live stream, I hope it was evident no matter the questions that were thrown at me, I’m here to work this position the way it needs to be worked and I am here for the community. Again thanks to everyone for the continued support and I’m looking forward to another 4 years.
