* Competitive Full-Time EMT-Paramedic Yearly Base Pay Salary over $66,000.00-$73,000.00, with 24/48 Hour Schedule or 48/96 Hour Schedule options

* Competitive Full-Time EMT-Basic Yearly Salary ranging from $46,000.00-$53,000.00, with 24/48 Hour Schedule or 48/96 Hour Schedule options

It is with great pleasure that after an annual review by the City of Mattoon, Mitchell-Jerdan Ambulance Service has exceeded the city’s licensing requirements of 90% of the time over the past year. Mitchell-Jerdan Ambulance Service obtained an annual rate of 98% with an outstanding average response time of 3.57 minutes per call.
These statistics have never been accomplished by any ambulance service, private or municipal, in the history of Mattoon. To achieve this feat at no additional cost to taxpayers, Mitchell-Jerdan Ambulance Service relied on the expertise of their staff of 30 paramedics and emergency medical technicians, purchased 5 new ambulances, 5 state-of- the-art heart monitors, and contributed continuing education for staff.
Mitchell-Jerdan Ambulance Service is honored to provide the Mattoon Community and surrounding area for more than 85 years. We would like to thank our dedicated staff and the community for their ongoing support. We are looking forward to continuing this service for many years to come.
