Macallister for Congress

Macallister for Congress Tyler MacAllister is a devoted public servant, community leader, and lifelong resident of Massachusetts’ South Coast, running for U.S.

Representative in Congressional District 9. With deep roots in Mattapoisett, where he serves as a Select Board member, Tyler’s connection to the region—encompassing the South Coast, Cape Cod, the Islands, and the South Shore—runs profound. His candidacy is driven by a passion for amplifying the voices of his neighbors, particularly local fishermen, and a commitment to restoring fiscal responsibili

ty in Washington. Combining a fisherman’s grit with a sharp intellect honed by a master’s degree in business and a background in marine biology, Tyler brings a unique perspective to the challenges facing his district and the nation. Born and raised on the South Coast, Tyler’s life has been shaped by the rhythms of the sea and the tight-knit communities that define the region. As a fisherman at heart, he understands the economic and cultural importance of Massachusetts’ fisheries, which have sustained generations. His marine biology expertise gives him a deep appreciation for the environmental challenges threatening these waters, and he is determined to protect this vital industry from overregulation and economic neglect. Tyler’s time on the Mattapoisett Select Board has honed his ability to listen to constituents, navigate complex local issues, and deliver practical solutions—skills he pledges to bring to Congress. Tyler’s professional background is as diverse as the district he seeks to represent. His master’s in business equips him with a keen understanding of economic policy, budgeting, and fiscal management, which he believes are critical to addressing the nation’s ballooning deficits and economic uncertainty. A staunch advocate for financial conservatism, Tyler champions common-sense budgeting that prioritizes the needs of working families, small businesses, and veterans. He is committed to cutting wasteful spending while ensuring that essential services and infrastructure investments strengthen CD9’s communities. At the core of Tyler’s campaign is his dedication to the people of Congressional District 9. He is a tireless advocate for the region’s fishermen, fighting to ensure their livelihoods are protected through policies that balance environmental stewardship with economic opportunity. Tyler is equally passionate about supporting veterans, recognizing their sacrifices and pushing for robust services and opportunities to help them thrive. His vision for CD9 is one of resilient communities, where practical, results-driven policies foster economic growth, preserve local traditions, and restore trust in government. Tyler MacAllister’s campaign is built on a promise: to represent the heart and soul of Massachusetts’ South Coast, Cape, Islands, and South Shore with integrity, determination, and a relentless focus on results. By blending his local experience, fiscal discipline, and deep connection to the region’s maritime heritage, Tyler aims to be a bold, effective voice for CD9 in Congress, delivering for the people who call this vibrant district home.

YOUR TOWN. YOUR VOICE.

Two months. Four regions. One question: what do you need from Washington?

I'm on the general election ballot for MA-09 on November 3rd, and I'm not spending the next two months attacking anybody — I'm spending them listening.

Town halls across the Cape, the Islands, the South Coast and the South Shore. Roundtables with fishermen, farmers, elderly, small-business owners, craft workers, maritimers, first responders, teachers and nurses.

This campaign is not about beating an opponent. It's about serving a community I've called home my entire life.

Please stay up to date by sharing our website, follow on social to support my campaign. Thank you very much!!

Stopped into the Sandwich Center for Active Living and met up with State Representative Steve Xiarhos who was being welcomed by a cacophony of car horns waves and cheers as they went in and out of the polls. Steve is the anchor to Cape Cod representing the towns of Sandwich, Barnstable and Bourne. I don’t actually believe he sleeps working so hard for the fifth district of Barnstable.

Met up with Eric Meschino for State Representative at the Middleborough first precinct voting location at Oak Point. Eric does not have a primary, but he is putting in the work to win in November.

Polls close at eight!

If you're sitting in the truck outside the store, or you just got home and kicked your shoes off — you have time.

I voted today, and I spent the rest of it traveling around with people who did the same. Bob McConnell said it plainest, and he wasn't talking about himself when he said it:

"Get out and vote. Whoever you're voting for, wherever you vote, get out and do it."

That's the whole thing. Today's ballot doesn't get decided by the people who meant to go. It gets decided by whoever actually walks in.

If you are in the line at 8, they have to let you vote — so get in the line.

Thank you!

Went by the polls at the Carver, middle high school and caught up with State Representative John Gaskey. John has been doing a tough job fighting the craziness of Beacon Hill. Don’t forget to vote tonight to show your support for John and send him back to Boston for another term.

The Acushnet polls were hopping. 900 people had voted by 11 AM. Took a few few minutes to chat with Jesse St.Gelais for State Representative. !
