Sacramento County Office of Education K-12 Curriculum The K-12 Curriculum and Instruction department provides high-quality professional development, instructional coaching, expert technical assistance.

Department staff work with teachers, instructional coaches, and education leaders in both schools and districts to develop the knowledge and skills needed for schools and districts to engage in a systematic and sustainable improvement process. This work brings together resources from a variety of sources to improve instruction, close the achievement gap for identified student subgroups, build a co

llaborative culture, and strengthen site and district capacity to raise achievement for all students. Services are tailored to the unique needs of each district and school, and, when necessary, contracts are negotiated on an individual basis.
