There’s still time to support the Matawan Aberdeen Education Foundation and the Thank a Teacher Fundraiser!

MAEF is collecting appreciation messages for teachers across the district along with donations! The teachers who receive the most monetary donations ‘in their name’ receive a mini-grant from MAEF to help our teachers bring more fun lessons like this glow in the dark classroom and hydroponic vegetable garden tower.

Please consider helping us continue to build amazing for the next year!

After months of dedication, data collection, and hands-on learning, MRHS AP Environmental Science students released 60 fingerlings into the Manasquan River.

Starting with 100 alevin, students carefully monitored water conditions and applied real scientific practices to help the fish thrive. It was an impressive accomplishment considering that the average classroom survival rate for the Trout in the Classroom program is only 0-1%.

As one of only three programs of its kind in the county, MRHS is proud to be leading the way with results like this and with a commitment to cold water conservation. Kudos to the AP Environmental Science students!
