Last night at approximately 9:43 PM, Mastic Ambulance Company was activated for a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of William Floyd Parkway and the Sunrise Highway North Service Road.

Upon arrival, crews conducted patient triage and assessment. Three patients were treated and transported by Mastic Ambulance Company.

The vehicles involved were secured, and roadway hazards, including spilled fluids, were mitigated by the Mastic Fire Department.

We are grateful to have such strong working relationships with our neighboring emergency service agencies and always appreciate the opportunity to work together in serving our community. Incidents such as these highlight the importance of teamwork, coordination, and professionalism among all responding personnel.

The incident was under the command of Mastic Ambulance Company Chief Michael Ryan and Mastic Fire Department Assistant Chief Sunderman. All units returned to service shortly thereafter.

This Memorial Day, the Members of Mastic Volunteer Ambulance Company pause to honor and remember the brave men and women of our United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸
Today, we reflect on the courage, dedication, and selfless service of those who gave everything for our country. Their legacy lives on through the freedoms we enjoy each and every day.
As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, let us never forget the true meaning of this day and those who paid the ultimate price in service to our nation.

As we continue to celebrate EMS Week 2026, Mastic Ambulance Company would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all EMS providers near and far for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to serving your communities each and every day.

We are especially grateful for the outstanding working relationships we share with the incredible crews of Stony Brook Medicine’s Mobile Stroke Unit and Medic 65, whose professionalism and teamwork help make a difference in the lives of so many patients throughout our area. Alongside our neighboring EMS and fire departments, we continuously strive to provide the best, fastest, and highest quality emergency medical care possible to the residents we proudly serve.

Today, over 50 EMS providers joined us at Mastic Volunteer Ambulance Company Headquarters for our Annual Pediatric in EMS Seminar, making it another incredible day of education, collaboration, and professional development.

On behalf of the Members, Officers, and Board of Directors of Mastic Volunteer Ambulance Company, we would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our guest speakers for sharing their knowledge, experience, and dedication to pediatric emergency care. We would also like to thank every attendee who took the time to join us and continue advancing their EMS education.

A special thank you goes out to the members of Mastic Ambulance Company who volunteered their time and effort preparing, setting up, assisting throughout the day, and cleaning up afterward to help make this event such a success. Your hard work and commitment behind the scenes are truly appreciated.

This EMS Week, May 17–23, 2026, Mastic Volunteer Ambulance Company proudly salutes all EMS Providers across our community and around the world! 🚑🩺💙

This year’s EMS Week theme, “Improving Outcomes, Together,” reflects the teamwork, dedication, compassion, and commitment shown every single day by EMTs, Paramedics, Dispatchers, Nurses, Firefighters, Police Officers, Hospital Staff, and all first responders working side by side to serve our communities.

We are incredibly proud of the dedicated ladies and gentlemen of Mastic Volunteer Ambulance Company who answer the call day and night, providing compassionate care to the residents of the Tri-Hamlet area and beyond.
