The Central Catholic Boys Basketball team is headed to the Regional Final this Saturday at 1 PM against Lutheran East! Their hard work, focus, and dedication have been outstanding.

Our students continue to make this community proud across athletics, academics, and the arts, and it’s incredible to see the dedication they bring every day. We are proud to watch these students represent Perry with hard work, determination, and Panther pride.

Today is heartwarming for the Perry community as we say goodbye to someone who has been such a vital part of our daily lives. Our fearless gatekeeper, guardian of the doors, of the front entrance, Pat Vargo, is heading into a well-earned retirement, and today is her final day with us.

For countless years, Pat has been one of the first people to welcome students, staff, parents, and visitors into our building. From keeping our school secure, to keeping everyone on their toes, to reminding folks again and again that checking in is a must, Pat approached every part of her role with dedication, consistency, and a genuine love for our school.

Pat has been a steady, trusted presence at Perry. She has watched over our students, supported our staff, and helped create an environment that was not only safe, but warm and welcoming each day. Her influence extends far beyond the front entrance, and Perry will feel different without her there.

Please take time today to congratulate Pat, share a memory, and wish Pat well as she begins this next chapter. Pat, thank you for the countless ways you have cared for our schools community. Your kindness, commitment, and watchful eye have made a lasting impact, and you will be deeply missed.

As you move into retirement, may your days be filled with sleeping in, stress-free mornings, no car lines, and never having to ask anyone to sign in again. You have more than earned it. Congratulations, Pat you will always be part of the Perry family.

🍁 Happy Thanksgiving, Perry Family! 🐾

As we head into break, I want to take a moment to say how thankful I am for our incredible students and staff. This week truly showed what it means to be part of the Perry PACK. Our students stepped up in a huge way donating food items to support families in need right here in our community. Your generosity makes a real difference, and I couldn’t be more proud.

And of course… thank you for also voting for Officer Vanest to get pied in the face. 😂 Anything for the kids, right? All in good fun and for a great cause!

Enjoy this time with your families, get some well deserved rest, and come back refreshed and ready to finish the year strong. Stay safe, have fun, and know how grateful I am to serve this amazing school community.

From mastering hair techniques and makeup artistry to learning real world professionalism and customer service, these talented students are building skills that will take them far beyond the classroom. Their dedication, creativity, and passion are truly inspiring! 🎨✂️
