Below are some suggestions the DDA received on beautification projects to be considered in Greenland Township. We have considered each of these and have put some thoughts together on what would need to be done to allow it and explained why some things are not possible.

Flowers boxes on corners, Petunias were specifically mentioned-We would need requests for volunteers to take care of flowers, water, w**d, etc.

Fix the Streets-Not township owned property

Eyesore elimination-The DDA can not assist specifically with the Co-op building due to it being privately owned.

Potentially waive tear-down permit fees for property owners/Property owned by a private individual

Bluff Fest Event-The DDA loves this idea and will take suggestions on things that would like to be seen with the first event to potentially be held in 2021.

Gazebo and swings-Need some location suggestions

Log Cabin in Greenland needs TLC-We can take bids or ask volunteers to do the work and we donate financially

Historical Signage designating locations of old livery, including informational sign on development of Mass at the Community Center, Mass mining company, Past businesses?

Bright colored bench seating-Previously purchased benches and chose not to do colors due to upkeep

More accessibility for aging seniors--Need more information on where?

Music in the Park over the summer--Suggestions are requested for musicians as well as best days and times.
