Well friends, family and especially Braden neighbors it's almost time for elections in The City of Braden. Braden Fire Department will be doing their Annual Chili Supper November 18, 2017 so mark your calendars. Cant wait to see everyone there, will be great to visit and enjoy visiting with all our friends and neighbors from the community.

Citizens of the city of Braden, I need to get information on those who have Gallaway water and are having problems with things such as water pressure and fluctuation of water bill amounts. I will be going to the Gallaway city board meeting and be the concerning voice for the citizens of Braden. If you are 1 of these citizens with a problem or know of someone that is, but not on Facebook. All I need is name and address so I have documentation in front of me when I address these issues with them. Please get this to me before next Wednesday August 12, 2015 that will give me time to get all my information together. We can't fix the problems if we don't address them. Thank you.

As we all already know we are in for some wintery weather later today, tonight and tomorrow morning. please beaware as ice and sleet will cause roadways to become slick, this could also start to accumalate on powerlines and tree limbs causing power outages. Be sure that all Fayette county agencies along with our partners in utilities will be monitoring situations and working diligently through this weather event. Stay safe and only travel if need be. Make sure you have your electronics charged and emergency supplies ready if needed. also think about taking a CERT (community emergency response team) class, which teaches you how to prepare for weather and other disaster events as well. Contact Fayette County Emergency Management at (901)465-3456 to check on our next scheduled class.

Bridges are already icy, roadways are getting slick. If you don't have to get out and travel stay home and stay safe with the loved ones. Travel will continue to be hazardous for a while. If you have to get out prepare for extended travel times, slow down and be safe

Want to wish all my friends and family a very Merry Christmas. Had a great time today at Braden Fire Department Annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa. It was great visiting with everybody and got even better when I saw all the smiles on all the kids faces when Santa arrived.
