Just one week away until the Wear Orange gun violence prevention event on June 6th! We can’t wait to see you and don’t forget to Wear Orange. 🧡

Greater Lansing Area Moms Demand Action and the Mikey 23 Foundation are co-organizing a community service project to be held next Saturday, June 6 from 10 to 2. As part of national Wear Orange day, we will be creating planters of flowers to be distributed across the greater Lansing area to honor victims and survivors of gun violence and to commit ourselves to the work to end this scourge in our communities. A picnic lunch will be provided to all participants. It's a great opportunity to dig into the dirt together and make something beautiful.

The event is co-sponsored with many community groups including: Lansing Empowerment Network, People Ready Activating Youth, Nation Outside, Voices of Color, Students Demand Action for Gun Sense and The Village Lansing.

Please share this with your networks.
