Are you thinning out your garden? Are you swamped with spider plant babies? Join us for a plant swap on Saturday, June 27th, between 1 and 4 p.m.

Bring in extra houseplants or cuttings from your garden plants and trade with other plant lovers.

-Ensure all plants and cuttings are pest-free so you don't spread any unwanted visitors.
-Please label everything!
-Wrap cuttings in damp paper towels and then place in small plastic bags, and keep potted plants secure in a shallow box or crate to prevent spills during travel.

We'll have a few pots to share but if you have some extra pots of your own lying around, they're sure to find good homes. We're also giving away seed packets, so polish up your green thumbs and join us!

Join Polina Shumanova for a Solstice Sound Journey this Saturday, June 20th at 3pm in the Mason City Room.

This sound journey explores the experience of the seed as it moves beyond the hidden dark and begins to meet the mystery of light. It is a continuation of the journey we began beneath the surface, where so much changes before anything can be seen. Through light breathwork, sound, story, and stillness, we will follow the quiet intelligence of becoming: the softening, the rooting, the opening, and the sweetness that waits within us until the moment is right. This is a restful, immersive experience with live instruments including crystal singing bowls, gong, drum, flutes, steel tongue drum, rain stick, ocean drum, chimes, and other gentle sounds. Please bring something comfortable to lie on for about an hour, such as a yoga mat or cushion, along with a pillow, blanket, and water. If you would rather sit in a chair, that is completely fine. Get ready to dig into the amazing world of plants with Lime Creek! Drop by the Mason City Room on Wednesday, June 17th from 3-6pm to join in the free fun! Visit different interactive stations to learn more about seeds, plants, and pollinators. Families can discover the different parts of a seed, how plants grow, and the importance of pollinators through hands-on activities! This is a drop-in event that will take about 30-45 minutes to complete. Best for families with children ages 11 and under. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Questions? Looking for some ways to add mindfulness and intention to your kid's lives? Join us on Monday, June 15th at 1pm in the Mason City Room for a calming and grounding sound journey in storytime format. Bring a mat or a towel to sit on so you can be extra comfy. 🧘‍♀️ All will have a chance to experience different instruments. There will also be a mindfulness craft available.
