I'm on the road to recovery and getting all the final details together for our 2015 Arc Camp/Retreat! Sept. 14 and 15 this year! We invite EVERYONE to attend our dance on Monday, Sept.14th from 7-10 p.m. at the Best Western in Clear Lake. Music will be provided by Mojo Productions out of Britt. ~Christie

Dad's Belgian Waffles!!! Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the V.F.W- 1603 S. Monroe, Mason City from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. Cost is $7-Adults, $5-Kids 6-12, Free-5 & younger. Carry-outs available. Please support The Arc of North Central Iowa. Tickets are on sale now or can be purchased at the door. For tickets in advance contact Christie at 641-420-3389. If you know a Board member they have tickets as well.

The public is invited to attend The Arc of North Central Iowa's Annual Spring Dance, Friday, April 17 from 7-10 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Mason City. This year we are doing a food drive for the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank. So please bring 2 non-perishable food items as admission to get into the dance. Music is provided by Mojo Productions.

Admission to the dance will be 2 (two) Non-perishable food items. Snacks will be provided by Fairy Kisses Bakery and The Arc Board Members. Music will be provided by Mojo Productions. Tonight, Saturday February 28 is Awareness Night at the North Iowa Bulls hockey game at the North Iowa Ice Arena. When you purchase your ticket mention the Arc and the Arc will receive 1/2 of every ticket sold. We will have prizes available to win if you donate $1.00. We have candy for the kids. We are also sharing the evening with Make-A-Wish...2 GREAT organizations to support! Come on out and join us!

Happy New Year to all! Hope 2015 is a great year for everyone! We have some upcoming events scheduled and hope you can attend. Our first event is Arc Awareness with the North Iowa Bulls. We will have an information table set up in the lobby and will be giving away some t-shirts and drawstring backpacks. Tickets to the hockey game are $10 for adults and $6 for children and Senior Citizens. Ages 5 and under are free. The Bulls will be donating 1/2 of the ticket price back to The Arc if you turn in an awareness card when you purchase your ticket. Awareness cards will be available Jan. 15. I will post how to get the cards on or shortly after the 15th. Any questions call Christie Helmer at 641-420-3389.

Halloween Dance- Friday, Oct. 31, 2014 at The V.F.W, 1603 S. Monroe in Mason City from 7-10 p.m.. Food will be served. The Arc of North Central Iowa provides transportation and snacks for this event. Everything else is provided by the V.F.W. If you need transportation please call Region 2 Transit at 641-423-2262 to make arrangements.

I haven't gotten the flyers done yet but just giving you a heads up that the Annual VFW Halloween Dance will be on October 31 from 7-10 p.m.. Food will be served before the dancing starts. I will get a flyer made and sent out to area Service Providers.
