This special event is an opportunity for our community to come together in remembrance, reflection, and unity as we honor Missing and Murdered Indigenous People.

Event Highlights: potluck meal (food & donations welcomed), drumming, giveaways, community connection and support.

Job Summary:
The Compliance Officer supports the TERO Department by helping secure compliance under Title VII exemption law, EEOC requirements, and other relevant federal, Tribal, and safety compliance standards. This position monitors contractor compliance, supports accurate documentation and reporting, and assists with fair and consistent application of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe’s TERO Ordinance and related requirements. The Compliance Officer develops working knowledge of TERO, EEOC, and applicable federal laws to help protect the Tribe’s interests and support safe, compliant job site practices.

MassWildlife, in cooperation with the Mashpee Wampanoag Natural Resource Department, the Mashpee Fire Department, and DCR Fire Control District 1, is planning to conduct a prescribed burn on the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Lands and the Mashpee Pine Barrens Wildlife Management Area.

Prescribed burns are carefully managed to help maintain healthy ecosystems and reduce wildfire risk.

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Food Pantry is pleased to share details about our 2025 Holiday Ham Giveaway, helping families gather around the table this holiday season.

Elders: Monday, December 22 (3–6 PM)
All Tribal Members: Tuesday, December 23 (11 AM–6 PM)

Each household will receive a ham and a holiday fixings bag while supplies last. Tribal ID is required.

As we head into the holiday season, the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Food Pantry is pleased to share details about its 2025 Holiday Ham Giveaway for Tribal members and Elders β€” helping families gather around the table and celebrate together.
