We are now accepting donations for our Summer Feeding Program. Below, you’ll find more information about the program and ways you can support this important effort.

When school is out, many children lose access to daily meals and learning opportunities. In 2023, due to funding cuts, our partnership site with Maryville City Schools was unable to operate. In response, MHA stepped up to create our own summer feeding program—ensuring no child in our community goes without.

Each summer, we provide:.
• 🍽️ Nutritious daily lunches
• 📖 A summer reading program in partnership with Maryville City Schools
• 🎯 Opportunities for students to meet reading goals and stay engaged

Together, these programs are building a strong foundation in both nutrition and literacy.

In 2025 alone, MHA staff prepared and served over 800 meals during the six-week program—and the need continues to grow.
