Village of Maryville Announces Additional Parking for Firemen’s Park Events
MARYVILLE, IL — The Village of Maryville would like to remind residents and visitors attending tomorrow’s Firemen’s Park Pavilion Dedication Ceremony, Bags Tournament, and Concert that additional parking will be available to accommodate the anticipated Memorial Day Weekend crowd.
Guests may utilize the grassy area located in front of the police station for overflow parking. Please note that certain portions of the grassy area are restricted and will be blocked off with temporary fencing. Attendees are asked to park only in clearly open and accessible areas.
Additional parking will also be available at the Mother of Perpetual Help Church parking lot beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m., following the conclusion of Saturday evening Mass services.
Mayor Wayne White said the Village is looking forward to welcoming the community for an evening of fellowship and celebration.
“We are expecting a wonderful crowd to come together and enjoy great food, cold drinks, outstanding music, and a fun-filled Memorial Day Weekend celebration while honoring American Legion Post 917 and all veterans for their service and sacrifice to our nation,” said Mayor White.
The Village appreciates everyone’s cooperation and looks forward to seeing the community at Firemen’s Park.
