Celebrate America 250 with us this Saturday in Downtown Maryville! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

Join us for a day filled with patriotism, history, live music, and community as we commemorate 250 years of America. If you’re planning to attend, be sure to plan ahead for a few changes happening downtown throughout the day!

🧺 Maryville Farmers Market | 8 AM–1:30 PM
For this Saturday only, the Farmers Market will be located at the Blount County Courthouse parking lot.

🇺🇸 America 250 Patriot Parade | 11 AM–Noon
Line the streets of Downtown Maryville as the parade travels along Broadway Avenue featuring marching bands, veterans, first responders, civic organizations, and more.

🎶 History Showcase & Concert | Noon–1:30 PM
Following the parade, head to Jack Greene Park and the Charles West Sr. Amphitheater for a celebration of our nation’s history and veterans, historical displays, and live music from the Jeff Jopling Band.

🚧 Road Closures
Feeder streets connecting to Broadway Avenue will close beginning at 10:30 AM until shortly after the parade concludes. Parade staging begins at 8 AM on Sevierville Road and Norwood Street. Court Circle will be closed from 7:30 AM–3 PM.

🚗 Parking
Parking will be available at First Baptist Church of Maryville and downtown parking garages. Check the maps included in this post for parking locations, road closures, and other important details.

The celebration is FREE and open to the public! Bring your family, wear your red, white, and blue, plan ahead, and come celebrate with us in Downtown Maryville! 🇺🇸

Before & After ✨
What an incredible transformation at 114 E. Broadway Avenue! This property has undergone an extensive renovation, both inside and out, breathing new life into a beautiful downtown building.

While the Downtown Improvement Grant helped support a small portion of the work on the Broadway-facing façade, we’re grateful to the property owners for restoring this building with such care.

Projects like this preserve the character of downtown Maryville while preparing its historic spaces for a vibrant future. We can’t wait for everyone to see the new Wells Tavern at their grand opening on September 19th!

Funded through the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, the Downtown Improvement Grant supports local businesses by investing in improvements that preserve the character of downtown, while strengthening our community spaces.

Taste of Blount is Blount County’s favorite culinary festival, featuring restaurants, food trucks, caterers and grocers from around the area, sampling their favorite bites. Held at the Greenway Amphitheatre, this year’s event will be on September 15 from 6-8 pm and includes food, entertainment and a chance to vote for your favorites, all for the $35 general admission ticket. Chef’s Table tickets are $100 and also include early entry at 5:30 PM, reserved tent seating, tray service, two complimentary adult beverages, and a chef meet-and-greet.
