Today at our monthly commission meeting, we commemorated Earl Anderson for his 35 years of hard work at Springbrook Recreation Center. Thank you, Earl, for all the work you do to serve our community!

The City of Alcoa, TN Government will be closing Springbrook Road between Marconi Blvd and Faraday St beginning tomorrow, June 19th at 7 am and the road will remain closed until 5 pm Saturday, June 20th. During that time folks coming to Springbrook pool will need to either come off of N. Wright Rd or through the neighborhood to Faraday St.

We're just a few weeks away from the 2026 Smoky Mountain Classic getting underway July 10. This tournament is considered the nation's premier men's slow-pitch softball tournament and will feature plenty of local teams taking on the top teams from across the country. For more info on this year's classic visit parksrec.com/special-events/smoky-mtn-classic and keep an eye on that page as the team list and bracket will be coming out as we get closer!
