The William Blount Lady Govs Lacrosse Team is hosting a Youth Lacrosse Clinic for girls in Kindergarten through 8th grade! No experience is necessary—this is a fun opportunity to learn the basics of lacrosse, play some games, and get an introduction to one of East Tennessee’s growing sports.

After lots of hard work and effort at tryouts, we are excited to introduce the students who will represent Mary Blount on our Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball Teams this season!

👏 Congratulations to each of our Bears who earned a spot on the team! We are proud of you and can’t wait to cheer you on as you represent MBES on the court.

It was a warm one ☀️, but our Bears did an amazing job! We loved seeing our students run, laugh, cheer each other on, and show their Bear Pride throughout the morning.

A HUGE thank you to all of the parents and family members who came out to cheer on our Bears, as well as our staff and everyone who helped make today such a fun and memorable event. We loved having you with us! ❤️🐻

We’re getting ready for a fun-filled Bear Run Day, and we have a few extras to share with our Bear families!

🏃 Want to participate? If your child did not participate in the calendar fundraiser, they may bring $1 tomorrow to participate in the Bear Run.

👕 Extra Bear Run T-Shirts will be available for $10!
Youth sizes: Small, Medium & Large
💵 Cash or check ONLY

🍧 Students will also have the opportunity to purchase a snow cone from the truck tomorrow:
Small – $5
Large – $7

Our Bears have been showing some amazing school spirit this week! 💙🧡 We loved seeing everyone representing their favorite teams yesterday and getting wonderfully wacky today! Check out some of the fun from Team Day and Wacky Wednesday! 📸

And now we're ready for the BIG day! 🎉 Parents and families are invited to join us tomorrow and cheer on our Bears during their scheduled run time. Check the graphic for your student's grade-level schedule.

💧 Don't forget the water bottle! Please send your Bear to school with a water bottle so they can stay hydrated throughout the day.

👕 And tomorrow is Blue & Orange Day! Students can wear their Mary Blount blue and orange or their Bear Run shirt!

Is your 3rd–5th grade Bear interested in joining the Mary Blount Cheer Squad? Cheer tryouts will be held September 8–10!

📄 Important: All required paperwork must be returned by Thursday, September 3:
• Permission Form
• Emergency Information Form
• Up-to-date Physical

⚠️ Paperwork will NOT be accepted after September 8.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1, is TEAM DAY! 🏀🏈⚽⚾ Students are encouraged to wear their favorite sports team's colors or gear and show us their team spirit!

🏀🐻 REMINDER: Basketball Tryouts Begin Tomorrow!

Mary Blount basketball tryouts for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade boys and girls begin tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1, and continue Wednesday, September 2, after school until 4:30 PM.

⚠️ Important: Students must have ALL required paperwork in order to try out:

📄 Permission Slip
📄 Emergency Form
📄 Current Physical

Please be at the front of the school at 4:30 PM for pickup. Tryouts are closed to parents.
