Every adoption has a story, and Molly’s has been a long journey.

When Molly came to us in February 2023, she weighed only 32 pounds and had experienced severe neglect. Over the last two years, she learned what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for.

This week, Molly finally found her perfect home. ❤️🐾

This is why fostering matters — giving animals the time they need to heal while they wait for the family they deserve. We could not be happier for Molly and her new beginning.

Each May, thousands of law enforcement officers, survivors, and supporters gather in Washington, D.C., for National Police Week and ceremonies at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. The 2026 observance honored the courage, sacrifice, and service of officers across the United States while remembering those who gave their lives in the line of duty.

The 2026 Candlelight Vigil honored 363 officers whose names were newly added to the memorial walls, including Marysville Police Department Officer Osmar Rodarte.

Officer Carroll proudly represented the Marysville Police Department during the week’s events, standing alongside agencies from across the country to honor the fallen and support surviving families. His participation reflected the department’s continued commitment to service, professionalism, and remembrance.

Today, on Peace Officers Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.

This day carries a profound meaning for the Marysville Police Department as we remember Officer Osmar Rodarte, whose loss continues to be deeply felt throughout our department and community. His dedication, courage, and commitment to protecting others will never be forgotten.

We also honor all fallen officers across the nation and the families, friends, and fellow officers who carry their memory forward every day.

Please join us in taking a moment to remember those who gave their lives in the line of duty. Their sacrifice will always be honored, and their legacy will continue to inspire us.

Gone but never forgotten. 💙🖤
