- Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
- Stay inside air-conditioned rooms and building.
- If you need to go outdoors, make sure you find shade, wear sunscreen, and rest often.
- Never leave kids or pets inside a parked car—even for a minute.

Looking for something to do this Saturday? Join First 5 Yuba County at Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm for Boots & Books, a Western-themed community event supporting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Yuba County!

Can't make it on Saturday? You can still give the gift of reading all weekend long!

Throughout the entire weekend (September 12–13), a portion of proceeds from corn maze tickets and wristbands purchased at Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm will benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Yuba County. This helps them continue providing free, high-quality, age-appropriate books mailed straight to the homes of local children from birth to age 5.
