A great opportunity for Yuba County educators 💦

📚Calling all Yuba County educators! 📚

The Water Education Foundation and California Department of Water Resources are teaming up to offer several summer workshops and field tours in June and July focused on water, forestry, ecosystems and more!

The workshops are certified through Project Learning Tree (PLT) and Project Water Education Today (WET) and provide opportunities to learn from experts while exploring California's natural resources.

Last Tuesday our board approved disbursement of the District 2 Priority Fund to support youth in Yuba County! Monthly transit passes are now available to Yuba County youth at no charge. Please visit Yuba Sutter Transit at 2100 B St Marysville or call them at (530)742-2877 to get one today!
Transportation is one of the biggest hurdles for youth in Yuba County to overcome. Transit can help get our young people to work, shop, school, programs and get them get to their destinations safely. Yuba County youth have a great summer navigating around on the local transit system at no cost!
