The 2023 Uptown Facade Improvement Program is open!

The City of Marysville created the Uptown Facade Improvement Grant Program to stimulate commercial building improvements in the Uptown Commercial Zoning District, or elsewhere as deemed appropriate. The program funding is to assist private investment with high quality historically accurate improvements.

BIG NEWS: ILL MANNERED is GROWING! We love being a small neighborhood brewery in Powell, and as we looked to expand, we felt the best fit was to find another community location and keep the small neighborhood brewery mantra going!

Well, we found a sweet spot in lovely Uptown Marysville. Our second home(planning to open late 2023) will be located at 117 S Main with a taproom, barrel house, and patio seating with fire pits, plus a future private event space. A unique building constructed in the late 1800s that will make for a pretty special beer drinking experience!

We are really looking forward to becoming a part of the wonderful Marysville community!

Never fear, our Powell location is here to stay!❤

Whew! It's been a whirlwind of activity the past two days. We were honored to host Frances Jo Hamilton with Heritage Ohio for a two-day Downtown Assessment Resource Team (DART) Visit. The DART Visit marks the beginning of a renewed push to formalize Marysville's downtown revitalization efforts by establishing a board of directors, committee structure, funding mechanism, and action plan. We’re still in the very early stages of this process, but we’re excited and cannot wait for what the future holds for Uptown Marysville. Special thanks go to Union Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc., Leon's Garage, and Richwood Bank for hosting our various meetings!
