🛎️Attention parents:‼️🚨

If your student currently receives Special Education services through our cooperative (Valley Heights and Marysville), quarterly progress reports are being sent home this week!
✏️Elementary students will be given their progress reports to bring home.
🎓Junior High/ High school students’ progress reports are being sent via postal mail.

As we transition to a new IEP system, progress reports look different than they used to. While there is lots of important information on these reports, we know they can be overwhelming to parents. We have highlighted and explained some of the key points to look for.

📩if you did not receive your child’s report or if you have questions, please email your child’s case manager and/or building principal

**Disclaimer, this is one of our team’s favorite imaginary students, “Timmy Test”. No student information was shared within these examples.**

Sometimes it’s hard for children with disabilities to get haircuts. My Autistic son, Royce, used to be that way! I’ve been that parent that felt like I couldn’t take my child anywhere to get a haircut. I would like to help other parents if they feel this similar way.

August 14th from 3pm-6pm at my salon I will be offering free haircuts to children with disabilities. If you would like to reach out before hand please do so, I would be happy to help!

Please share and spread the word!
