This week, we take time to remember the heroes who gave their lives protecting and serving their communities. During National Law Enforcement Memorial Week, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their service and legacy will never be forgotten.

Our community is invited to join us for the Union County Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony as we gather together in remembrance and gratitude.

Yesterday I had the privilege of joining the See You at the Library event at the Marysville Public Library. I was invited to read one of the BRAVE Books as part of this nationwide effort to encourage story time with themes that build character and community.

It was a joy to spend time with the kids, share a story, and be part of an event that highlights just how important reading together really is. Thank you to everyone who came out, I truly enjoyed it!

You can find me all week (through Friday) inside the Old Merchant Building — just look for the Sheriff’s cruiser parked outside!

🎯 Test your skills on the Laser Shot Simulator!
• Kids (12 PM – 4 PM): A chance to compete against Sheriff Justice himself!
• Adults (4 PM – 8 PM): Individual scenarios.

*All participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign a waiver.

Stop by daily from 12 PM – 8 PM and see if you’ve got what it takes!

As we celebrate today with cookouts, fireworks, and time with the people we love, I’m reminded how lucky we are to live in a country built on freedom—something that’s never come without sacrifice.

Please join us in honoring our fallen officers, Sheriff Hager, Sgt. Beekman, and Sheriff Wolfe, on Saturday, May 17 at 11 AM on the North Lawn of the Courthouse. This year marks 20 years since the unveiling of the “In The Line of Duty” monument. The public is encouraged to attend.

Law Enforcement Memorial to be held May 17, 2025

Please join us in honoring our fallen, Sheriff Forest Hager, Sergeant Roger Beekman, and Sheriff Harry Wolfe, on Saturday, May 17th.
This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the unveiling of our Law Enforcement Monument "In The Line of Duty". The Ceremony will be held on the North Lawn of the Union County Courthouse. We will begin with a Remembrance Processional of the Ohio State Highway Patrol Color Guard and Uniformed Officers at 11:00 am.
PUBLIC IS WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!
