7. Duplicate comments posted repeatedly within a short period of time.
8. Comments containing actual defamation against a person, either as determined by a court or comments that
are patently defamatory by easily discovered facts. When a public figure is the target, the poster must act with
actual malice for the comment to be defamatory.
9. Comments that contain images or other content that violate the intellectual property or copyright rights of
someone else, if the owner of that property notifies us that the property was included in a comment on our
social media account(s).
10. Comments that contain a hyperlink to any website other than those we control. This will be done without
regard to the viewpoint of the comment containing such a link or the content of the site to which the link

Residents have reported finding notices hanging on their doors. These flyers falsely claim that the resident is under investigation and instruct them to call the attached number.

This is a scam. DO NOT call the number.

ATTENTION:
On Friday, May 29th from 7am - 10am, we will be conducting an Active Aggressor Training at the Early College High School. This drill is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and preparedness of our community. You will see a significant number of police cruisers, fire trucks, and emergency vehicles on and around campus. This is a planned simulation only. There is no actual threat to the school or the public.

Due to current weather conditions, today's Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony will be held indoors at the Union County Veterans Memorial Auditorium located at 233 W 6th St, across from the Union County Courthouse parking lot.
The ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM as planned. Please join us as we come together to honor the fallen and remember their service and sacrifice.
