This month’s discussion focused on “The Future of Mobility,” highlighting the trends, innovations, and infrastructure shaping the future of transportation and regional connectivity. A special thank you to Terry Emery, City Manager for the City of Marysville, Ohio - Government, and Parag Agrawal, Chief Mobility Officer for the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), for sharing important updates on passenger rail. 🚉

We also appreciate Casey Denny, Chief Development Officer at the John Glenn Columbus International Airport, for providing an exciting update on the airport’s new terminal project currently underway. ✈️

Congratulations to Thriving Together Collective on their grand opening ribbon cutting today! 🎊 Located in the old Marysville Cabinet Company Building, their address is 206 East 4th Street, Unit A, in Uptown Marysville.

Thriving Together Collective, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to creating meaningful employment opportunities in the community for adults with developmental disabilities. Their General Store offers paid internships to adults with disabilities who have limited job experience or have historically faced barriers to community employment.

It was a great morning with our Board Members as we visited four Chamber Members in Marysville! It was wonderful learning more about these businesses, hearing their stories, and connecting with our members.

What a great turnout for our April Business Impact Breakfast this morning at the Automotive & Mobility Innovation Center! We heard valuable updates from the City of Marysville and Main Street Marysville.

For the City of Marysville, City Manager Terry Emery and Human Resources Director Tara Maine provided an update on the City Manager hiring process currently going on. Jessica Estep, Board Chair of Main Street Marysville, shared information about the organization’s growth from its beginnings to today, as well as all the events they lead and their plans to hire an Executive Director in the near future.
