This Mental Health Awareness Month, we're proud to spotlight our partners at Lower Lights Health and the dedicated professionals who help make whole-person care possible right here in Union County.

Meet Raina Theiss, CNP and Lauren Levingston, LSW — two compassionate team members who are helping individuals and families navigate everything from primary care and behavioral health needs to substance use treatment, crisis support, and recovery services.

At Lower Lights, support means building relationships, removing barriers, and walking alongside people as they work toward their goals. Their team is committed to caring for the whole person and ensuring that every individual feels seen, supported, and connected.

Proud to see so many community partners showing up to support Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Recovery happens when people feel seen, supported, and connected — and we’re grateful for partners like Brighter Days Union County and the Recovery Court team for helping reduce stigma and promote hope in our community.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and our Recovery Court team is proud to wear green in support of breaking stigma, promoting recovery, and reminding our community that mental health matters. 💚

Behavioral health challenges can impact learning, relationships, attendance, and a student’s sense of belonging at school — but with the right support, students can build resilience and thrive. 💙

BRYT (Bridge for Resilient Youth in Transition) helps students navigate challenges, strengthen coping skills, and stay connected to school supports during difficult times.

We’re grateful for the BRYT teams at North Union Middle School and Fairbanks Elementary School and their commitment to helping students feel seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Because support starts early — and resilience grows through connection. 💙

MHRBUC is proud to invest in ROX (Ruling Our eXperiences), an evidence-based curriculum helping girls in grades 5–12 build confidence, strengthen relationships, manage stress, and develop healthy coping skills.

This school year, 188 girls across Union County participated in ROX!

Last week, Creekview Intermediate School ROX girls shared healthy coping strategies and information about stress and wellbeing with their peers during the RISE Rally.

Thank you for using your voices, supporting your peers, and leading by example. Your leadership is helping build a stronger, healthier community. ✨

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re proud to spotlight NAMI Mid-Ohio — a partner helping ensure individuals and families impacted by mental health challenges know they are not alone.

NAMI Mid-Ohio brings hope, connection, education, and advocacy to our community, walking alongside families through some of life’s hardest moments and helping build understanding, support, and belonging.

Thank you to Melissa, Ginny, Holly, and the NAMI Mid-Ohio team for the work you do every day to remind people that support matters — and that hope is always worth holding onto.

Because support starts with connection. 💚

💚 Strong systems of care are built through partnership, collaboration, and people who care deeply about their communities.

Over the past few months, Coleman Health Services has expanded behavioral health services in Union County during an important time of transition for our community. While some familiar faces have continued serving Union County through this transition, others are new additions helping strengthen support for local residents.

From clinical care and crisis response to case management and day-to-day support, these team members are helping ensure Union County families continue to have access to behavioral health services when and where they need them.

We’re grateful for the partnership and excited to spotlight some of the people behind this work. 💙
