We had a very special Grandparents Day celebration this past Sunday at Heritage Senior Living of Marysville! Generations of families joined our Ice Cream Sundae party to celebrate their cherished family members. We even had two families represented with five generations! 😲 How amazing! 😍🍨

🎶"Workin' at the car wash!"🎶
We officially closed out summer with an End of Summer party, complete with a "car" wash! Residents got their walkers and wheelchairs s***k and span, while feasting on pizza and popsicles! 🍕 A special thank you to our caregivers who came up with this great idea and got their hands soapy! The residents had a blast!
The summer of 2026 was a great one at Heritage Senior Living of Marysville and we can't wait to see what fun the harvest season will bring us!

Our residents are "hooked" on fishing - we had another fun day at Prairie Oaks Metro Park this week! Unfortunately, the fish weren't biting; we only caught one fish and surprisingly one turtle! Both safely returned to the pond, of course. What we lacked in fish, we made up for with amazing picnic food, lots of sunshine and plenty of friendship! 🎣💙🐟

💜 What a wonderful day for our annual Walk for Alzheimer’s! Our residents had such a great time walking alongside their friends and family for an amazing cause.

We’re so thankful to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special! 💜👟

Did someone say CAKE?!?! Today is the day! Our Walk to End Alzheimer's Fundraising event starts at 1:30pm, followed by our annual CAKE WALK fundraiser at 2:30pm! Bring your walking shoes and your sweet tooth and join in the fun! 🎉🎈👟🍰

Here's another example to show what an amazing community Heritage Senior Living of Marysville is! In honor of America's 250th birthday this year, a Community Quilt was designed, sewn, quilted and is now displayed in our main hallway. Residents Sue Bryant and Sandy Cogossi, along with Activity Director Christy Syfert, sewed strips of red, white, and blue fabric to create exactly 250 quilt squares. Residents, staff, family members and friends were then encouraged to sign each square with the end goal of having collected 250 signatures as well!
We still have around 90 squares to fill - family and friends who haven't yet signed the quilt are encouraged to stop by and do so. This quilt was truly a labor of love - a love of country and community! ❤️🤍💙
