So much going on in and around the museum yesterday. We’ve had Sarah Morrison visiting. Sarah is Charles F. Koester’s great granddaughter. She always has delightful memories to share with us. Plus The Kansas Humanities Board came by for a tour and dinner in the garden followed by the community band concert. It’s wonderful that this house that Charles built can touch so many.

Be sure to join us tomorrow (Saturday, June 6th) at 10 am in our Gardens to get tips on creating spectacular planters for your own house! Free admission!

The Civil War presentation scheduled for 11 has been cancelled for tomorrow. She will reschedule for a different time. This means the children's Victorian games from 12 - 2 has also been postponed.

The museum will be open all day, 10 - 4. Admission is $10 for adults, and $5 for children.

We're looking forward to Big Blue River Days and hosting TWO exciting programs in our Gardens. The first program will be on creating stunning potted plants for your porch, admission is free, it starts at 10 am. The second program is about women in the Civil War and will begin at 11am, free admission. From noon - 2 pm we invite children to play old fashioned games in the Koester Park, just west of the museum. The museum will be open from 10 - 4 on Saturday. We hope you will come visit, admission to the museum is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
