⚠️ Boil Advisory for residents with addresses from 510 - 540 Eric Court is in effect until further notice.

‼ BOIL ADVISORY‼ Water Main repairs have resulted in an interruption of service to residents with addresses from 510 - 540 Eric Court.

Once the repair work has been completed and the water service has been restored, a precautionary BOIL WATER ADVISORY will be automatically issued. Boil water advisories are precautionary and standard procedure per state regulation anytime a water line needs to be shut downi.

During a boil-advisory, it is recommended that you bring water to a complete boil for 5 minutes before consuming it. You can still bathe or wash with the water as usual.

The City of Martinsville Water Utility will be sampling water after the work is completed for two consecutive days thereafter to ensure the quality of the water after the repairs. The samples will be sent to a state certified lab for testing. Once two consecutive days’ worth of satisfactory sample results are received, the boil-advisory will be lifted.

The City of Martinsville Water Utility will notify you once your water is cleared for normal consumption.

🛝PLAYGROUND UPDATE 🚀

Today, we were made aware of issues with the slides at the Rocket Ship Playground. To ensure the safety of all visitors, the slides will be caution-taped off and boarded up until replacement parts can be obtained and installed.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to make the necessary repairs. The safety of our park guests is always our top priority.
