The Link Observatory and Space Science Center, Inc (LOSSC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation to established Spring of 2012. The mission of its founders is to provide the state of Indiana with a world-class public education and outreach facility utilizing the observatory telescope, the public auditorium and observatory grounds to promote astronomy and space science to Indiana middl

e school and high school students, public and private organizations, underserved communities and the general public. Our Informal Education and Outreach Programs:
Each month will focus on a different topic for our informal education and outreach programs. Each of these programs will utilize the latest in computer technology and multimedia graphics and incorporate the auditorium for multimedia lectures, 3D video presentations and live NASA video events as well as integrated programs with the Link 36” Telescope and Observation Deck. Organized Citizen Science projects utilizing the Link 36” Telescope for amateur and student level research is also offered in the form of Advanced Studies Programs in collaboration with government, educational and private research institutions.
