is a 501 c (3) not for profit charitable organization.CASA-EP is an incredibly effective organization of highly trained adult volunteers that give each child to whom they are assigned, a voice in court, allowing the Judge to be informed of the child’s educational, behavioral, and medical needs, along with the child’s unique thoughts, feelings, and perspective, and an opportunity to voice the desired outcome of their own case.

Today marks a new era for CASA of the Eastern Panhandle!

Beth McCoy is officially starting as Executive Director. Here is a welcome note from Beth, who has already hit the ground running 💙

"I am grateful for the opportunity to serve families throughout Berkeley, Morgan, and Jefferson counties. I look forward to partnering with the dedicated volunteers, staff, and board of CASA-EP to build on the organization's strong foundation and expand its impact. Supporting children and helping them succeed is deeply important to me, and I am eager to get started."

After a transformative term as the Executive Director of CASA of the Eastern Panhandle, Michelle Sudduth, along with her team, spent her last official day on the job accepting an $18,000 donation from Leadership Jefferson. A fitting final day for someone who has spent her life advocating for children in need.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Michelle for all the years of leadership, dedication, and advocacy. Our community is better because of Michelle!

Michelle, congratulations on your retirement! Your lasting impact on CASA of the Eastern Panhandle will be felt for generations ❤️
