We are deeply grateful to everyone who has extended heartfelt condolences and generous donations. In the wake of Officer Marc Kahue’s passing, we have been deeply moved by the outpouring of support from our community. Many have asked how they can help Marc’s surviving loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

To assist with funeral expenses and provide support for his loved ones—including a college fund for his young daughter, Isabella—donations can be made to the Martinez Police Officers Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 99-4869209).

On April 24th, Officer Marc Kahue fell ill at work and was brought to Kaiser Vallejo's ER for a series of blood work and other tests. Two days later, he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

The MPOA would like to thank all of our followers for their continued words and actions of support over the years, but especially in recent times. It goes without saying that you all are the reason we push forward in strength and unity in the most difficult of times.

We would also like to let everyone know that BRYAN DODD is currently selling t-shirts in honor and remembrance of Sgt. Paul Starzyk. The price is $30 each, $35 if shipping is needed. All proceeds go to the Tarantino/Starzyk Memorial Scholarship Fund at Alhambra High School.
