Did you know September is Library Card Sign Up Month?

With a Martindale Community Library card you can access Ebook and Audiobook services like CloudLibrary and Libby, sign you children 5 years of age or younger for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, sign up for a TexShare card and more!

The Library also offers a variety of programs like Children's Storytime, Lego Club, Crafter's Corner, Arts & Crafts Hour, "Any Book" Book Club, and Summer Reading Programs.

Our goal for this month is to bring in 15 new library cards! We have 2 new cards so far! Library cards are free to residents of Martindale, Caldwell County, Hays County, and Guadalupe County!

Weekly Calendar!

Stop by on Wednesday from 4:30 - 5:30 pm for our weekly Lego Club! This is a great time for elementary and middle school aged kids to work on fun projects, they can build their own set, work on one of our donated sets, or work on 5 minute challenges and more from the Library's Lego books!

For this week's Children's Storytime we will be reading "XO, Exoplanet" by Deborah Underwood, "Total Solar Eclipse" by Jayme Sandberg! For our craft we will make solar system bookmarks, create your own astronaut, and a solar system coloring page!

We are now in our third week of Digital Lift Technology Classes! We are full right now but we will have another round of classes starting in October! Please call the Library or email [email protected] to inquire about the classes!

Friday's are our Creative Conversation days! This is a great time to destress from a busy week with a complementary adult coloring book and conversation led by our peer support specialist! Stop by from 11 am - 12 pm!
