Apparently all it takes is a caricature to reveal our true superpowers: teamwork, Texas pride, and legendary hat game!
Same badge, same commitment, just drawn with a little extra swagger. Proof that serving the community doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun doing it. Sergeant Douglas even has hair now for the first time in years!

⚠️Travel Advisory⚠️

Well, the sun tried to help… it failed.
We know cabin fever is real. The kids are driving you nuts, raiding the fridge, and arguing over literally everything. One more day, we got this!

If you must leave in the morning, slow it way down, leave plenty of space to stop, and pretend you’re driving to a potluck with a crock pot in the front seat.

Help us keep you, your car, and our officers upright.

Stay warm and stay safe❄️🚔

⚠️Travel Advisory – Icy Road Conditions⚠️

The City of Mart Police Department advises the public that hazardous icy conditions are predicted on area roadways. Due to the increased risk to motorists, residents are strongly encouraged to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary.

Bridges, overpasses, and shaded areas may be especially dangerous. If travel cannot be avoided, motorists should reduce speed, allow additional stopping distance, and exercise extreme caution.

The City of Mart Emergency Management will be opening a warming center at the Mart Community Center, located at 800 E. Bowie Street, Mart, Texas. The warming center will open at 12:00 PM on Saturday and remain open until 8:00 AM on Tuesday.

Officers will continue to monitor roadway conditions. The safety of our community remains our highest priority.
