🎉 What a Day! 🎉

We’re still smiling from last Saturday’s Marsing Chambers 3rd annual Gateway to the Owyhees ATV Poker Run! What an incredible turnout and a fantastic day spent exploring our beautiful area, connecting with friends, and making new memories.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, sponsored, donated prizes, hosted stops, and helped make this event such a success. Events like this are only possible because of the amazing support from our community.

Marsing Chamber Community Update

We want to share an update regarding the July 3rd parade. We were truly excited about the idea and hoped this could be the start of a brand‑new annual tradition for our community. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to move forward with it this year.

The Marsing Chamber is run entirely by volunteers, and with the ATV/UTV Ride at the end of May and the Show ’n Shine Car Show at the end of June, we simply don’t have the manpower to take on another major event at this time. We’re very sorry — especially in such a meaningful year.

We also want to let everyone know that the boat parade will not be happening this year. This decision wasn’t due to the Chamber, but rather some issues that came up during the application process.

Thank you for understanding and for always supporting the volunteers who work hard to bring events to Marsing. Our community is special because of all of you.

Yesterday I attended one of the Meta trainings that the puts on a couple times a year — and wow, it was GOOD.

These sessions are free for any Chamber member in the area, and they’re full of real, usable information. We dug into reels, ads, boosts, promotions, and how each one works differently. The step‑by‑step “how to create them” portion was honestly amazing.

And the fun facts…
• Hashtags? Turns out they can actually hurt your business
• AI‑created logos? Not legally yours, so anyone can use them
• In a room full of iPhone users, many of them will show up in your “People You May Know”

It was informative, a little shocking, and definitely worth attending. If you see the next one pop up, go.
