Owyhee County 4-H Youth Development

Owyhee County 4-H Youth Development 4-H empowers youth to reach their full potential by working & learning in partnership with adults. 4-H encourages participation by the entire family.

Families can work together on projects and activities, attend meetings and community events together, and learn every step of the way. Not only do we have clubs in communities throughout the county, we also have 4-H "in school" and "after school" activities. If a traditional club does not fit your schedule, contact us about other 4-H opportunities in your area.

What a fun day at the Marsing FFA Elementary Ag Expo!

We loved getting the chance to run a station and spend time with all the awesome kids as they rotated through each activity. Our “Seed in a Glove” station gave students a hands-on way to learn about plant growth.

Students created their very own mini greenhouse using a glove, a damp cotton ball, and seeds. As they tucked their seeds into each “finger,” they learned what plants need to grow—water, air, and sunlight. 🌞💧🌱

The best part? They get to take their glove home and watch their seeds sprout over the next several days!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our station to learn and grow with us, we enjoyed being part of such a great event!

🤖✨ Elements of Robots – 4-H Friday Success! ✨🤖
We had a fantastic time at our Elements of Robots – 4-H Friday! The youth had so much fun learning to code and putting their skills to the test by maneuvering robots through obstacle courses and completing different challenges. It was great to see their creativity and problem-solving in action!

A big thank you to Andrea Hardman, Onramp Supervisor at the CWI Onramp program (funded by Apple), for sharing her time and expertise with our group—we truly appreciate it!
