We are a warm and friendly small, southern town which offers a great place to live and grow. Our municipality of about 2,500 people has a small town atmosphere within reach of big city amenities as we are 10 miles from Monroe, NC and 35 miles from Charlotte, NC via HWY 74 with the new Monroe Expressway travel to Charlotte is streamlined. Also, by virtue of our location in the piedmont, we are about 3 hours from either the Great Smokey Mountains to the west or the wonderful beaches of North Carolina to the east.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE | Randy Travis Music Festival 🎶

Please be aware of upcoming road closures in Downtown Marshville as preparations begin for the Randy Travis Music Festival.

Closures will begin Friday, September 18 at 7:00 p.m., with additional downtown streets closing Saturday, September 19 at 6:00 a.m. through midnight.

Please review the flyer for specific streets and closure times, and plan your travel accordingly.

We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as we welcome this annual event to Marshville!

Today, the Town of Marshville joins communities across our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives, the first responders who ran toward danger, the families whose lives were forever changed, and all those who answered the call to serve in the days and years that followed.

Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives, the courage, the sacrifice, and the unity that brought our nation together.

May we never forget. 🇺🇸

📣 MARSHVILLE YOUTH CHEER IS HERE! 📣

We are EXCITED to officially open registration for the inaugural season of the Town of Marshville Parks & Recreation Youth Cheer Program! 💜💛

We're ready to build SPIRIT, CONFIDENCE, TEAMWORK and FUN while cheering on our East Union youth football teams!

📣 Ages: 5–11
💵 Registration Fee: $30 per cheerleader
👥 Limited to the FIRST 20 cheerleaders!
📅 Practices: Tuesdays & Thursdays | 6:00–8:00 PM
🏈 Games: Saturdays | Various Times

🚨 REGISTRATION DEADLINE:
Monday, September 7 at 5:00 PM OR when all 20 spots have been filled — whichever comes first!
