Tonight we got to witness something very rare. Dennis received his 60 year plaque for being a firefighter. To say it was an honor for Daniel to be able to give him this as Chief is an understatement. Dennis is still involved with the fire service today and we can’t thank him enough for his service.

between 7 and 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph,
strongest Monday afternoon and evening.

* WHERE...Coastal Hancock and Coastal Washington Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 AM Monday to 7 AM EST Tuesday. Monday afternoon and evening will feature the worst conditions, with the strongest winds gusting to 50 mph and heaviest snowfall rates around 1 inch per hour.

Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
Conditions will begin deteriorating around the tail end of the

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. If you
must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get
stranded, stay with your vehicle.
