Since 1995, Sowing Seeds has answered over 13,000 calls for assistance. We help our Marshfield neighbors help themselves as they work to meet essential needs and then overtime to work on secondary needs. Our Advocacy workers respond to calls from our telephone line by conducting home visits. During these intake visits, two workers validate essential needs and advocate for and connect clients to resources, frequently financial,educational and counseling professionals. When necessary, Sowing Seeds can assist with payment of vital bills such as rent, utilities,medical needs and auto repair. All information gathered is held in strict confidence. On this Giving Tuesday, please consider helping Sowing Seeds to continue our 30 year mission of helping people in Marshfield. A HUGE thankyou to Marlon Blanco and Service Master South Shore for cleaning up so many issues in the basement at The Sowing Seeds clothing bank. Marlon had a full crew working all day to remediate our issue and then totally donated his staff and service. You are amazing and the Marshfield community is so lucky to have people like you willing to step up when problems arise.

Huge thank you to the students of Martinson Elementary School! They donated five enormous bags of children’s mittens, hats, and coats to Sowing Seeds (in Marshfield, Massachusetts) through their mitten tree. These items will be available to those in need at Sowing Seeds’ clothing bank.
