The Marshfield Area Community Foundation is proud to support the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield through a multi-year community grant as they campaign to create a stronger, more connected, and more resilient community with a permanent location. From borrowed corners of elementary schools to their goal of a 30,000-square-foot Club designed specifically for youth and teens, the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield plans to increase the number of youth served to close to 300 across the community every day.

Ken and Norma Zittleman Scholarship

Ken and Norma were lifetime teachers in the Marshfield Public Schools, with careers spanning 29 years. Their passion for education led them to establish a first-of-its-kind fund within the Marshfield Area Community Foundation: a scholarship designed not for graduating seniors or college students, but for their teachers.

This scholarship supports Marshfield Public School educators with bachelor’s degrees who wish to continue their education in the teaching profession.

Community Grant Update

“I've always been community minded, service minded… there should be no reason for a small community like this to have anybody that doesn’t have a place to go,” stated a Point in Time Count Volunteer.

Each January, NCCAP joins the nationwide Point-in-Time Count to identify neighbors experiencing homelessness and connect them with local support. This outreach helps turn data into direct housing assistance for Marshfield-area residents. The Marshfield Area Community Foundation is proud to support NCCAP's emergency rental assistance program through a community grant.
