We love to see County Endowment grant awards making communities great places to live, learn, work and play! Congratulations to the Melbourne IA Community Playground Project Committee volunteers who worked very hard on this project & they are already onto another project!

We love to see our grant dollars at work! In 2025 the Foundation Board provided a $30,000 grant for signage for the four projects within the Linn Creek District. These projects are a great example of public/private partnerships that make a community the place to live, learn, work and play!

Last Friday night the ribbon was cut on the newly renovated Franklin Field which is so rich in history! Rebuild Marshalltown Fund donors - pictured is the "glow path" (super cool after dark) on the north side of the facility. The City of Marshalltown has committed to connect this path to West End Park. !

We love to see our County Endowment grant dollars at work! Congratulations to the Ferguson Community Center - Iowa !!

The Ferguson Community Center is celebrating a recent improvement made possible through the generous support of the Community Foundation of Marshall County and Keep Iowa Beautiful.

The Community Center received grant funding to help give the playground equipment a much-needed refresh. The playground is a well-loved and frequently used asset in Ferguson, providing a place for local children and families to play and enjoy time together.

Thanks to the grant, Megan Seymour of Seymour Painting put her skills to work painting the playground equipment and giving it a fresh, renewed appearance. Her work is a great example of a local business giving back and helping make a direct difference in the community.
